Yes indeed, but please be aware that our teas do not come from certified gluten-free facilities.
The answer is…it depends on the tea! Because some of our blends have big chunks of fruit, chocolate and other great stuff, they don’t always stay fresh as long as our traditional straight teas. To keep your teas fresh, always store them in a cool, dry, dark place and keep them well sealed. To make sure you’re always getting the best cup of tea possible, we recommend you follow these guidelines:
Most of our teas contain virtually no sugar, carbohydrates or calories.
Each tea’s product page contains a full list of ingredients. We always make sure to call out any priority allergen (like peanuts, dairy, or gluten). However, keep in mind that our teas don’t come from certified nut- or dairy-free facilities. So if you have a severe allergy, we recommend you talk to your physician before drinking our teas.
Unlike most tea companies in North America, we use flavoring as a booster for the palate, and not a way to remove fruit or berries all together. We always include dried fruits and berries in our delicious blends, yet sometimes a flavor element does not come through on a quick hot steep. This is where we introduce natural or organic flavor to help our palate out. Keep in mind that no matter how big the taste may be, the actual amount of flavoring in a brewed cup of tea is next to nothing – about 0.001%.
